We have exciting updates to share regarding two extraordinary Sacred Earth Community online events taking place in the next few days - one, on Sunday, that we announced last week, and a new, related event that will be live streamed on Friday, June 21.
1. Sunday, June 23: There is still time to register to participate, in person or online, for the FREE two-hour event at Trinity Church in NYC - "Sacred Earth Community: A Spiritual Narrative for the 21st Century." You can participate via the video webcast as an individual or, if you would like to view as a group and host a follow-on conversation, as a Partner site. After you register, you will receive additional information to support your online participation - log-on instructions, how to submit questions/comments during the webcast, two short pieces that set the stage for the panel discussion (including David's article, "A Sacred Story for Our Time"), and questions for follow-on conversations.
Check out the program and the remarkable people who are slated to engage in these conversations - Mary Evelyn Tucker, Adam Bucko, Sharon Salzberg, Fr. Michael Holleran, Pir Zia Inayat-Khan, Majora Carter, Charles Eisenstein, Angel Kyodo Williams, and Swami Omkarananda, to name a few. David will join Dena Merriam, founder and convenor of the GPIW, for the opening at 9:00am (Eastern), and will lead a conversation - "Embracing a Sacred Earth Community Narrative" - with Robert Nadeau, Rev. Ed Bacon,Marianne Marstrand, Bill Twist, and Rev. Diane Berke, at 11:15an (Eastern).
We will post updates on David's Facebook Page. If you need further information about either of these online events, please reply to this message or email email@example.com.
Thank you for your work in the world!
