Speaking Engagements 2009

David Korten will be speaking in many cities across the US in 2009. His speaking engagements range from keynote addresses at major conferences, to grassroots Earth Community Dialogues, and large public presentations.

June 2009

Bainbridge Island, Washington

Magazine, WorldWatch Institute, Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, and netcrafters.  Korten participates in a pre-conference book discussion on "Agenda for a New Economy," delivers a feature presentation, and participates in an Earth Community Dialogue. Indianapolis, Indiana
June 19-21:  Earth Charter National Momentum Conference at Butler University; Korten is the evening keynote speaker on June 19.  The conference will demonstrate how Earth Charter principles create an ethical framework for sustainability; give participants information and skills to work for sustainability in their communities while remaining part of the global effort.  Conference is intended for people of all ages and experience who share an affinity for the Earth Charter by virtue of their work for environmental protection, non-violence, economic and social justice, and government that is accessible and participatory.
